Hemera
In Greek mythology, Hemera is the personification of day, perhaps the daughter of Nyx, the night. Hemera is also the name of the trio project that Tania Giannouli premiered for her residency at Enjoy Jazz (2022). While maintaining a Mediterranean sensibility filled with passionate soulful music, the trio is musically open, exploring sounds that are underpinned with electronics, and an enjoyment of playing with the audience's expectations.
